So, it's obviously Ibrahimovic. I can understand you keeping that quiet, Beef.

A fair question that we would all like to know the answer to and won't really give anything away!
At least you have ruled out the weird story posted earlier about James Vaughn from Huddersfield :)

I assume Koeman would no better than to play him as the sole defensive midfielder.

I always thought it was interesting when people kept talking about Gerard playing the "Pirlo role" of deep lying playmaker. But the pundits/commentators always ignored the fact that Pirlo does not play like that (at least not for Italy). He has a free playmaker role and is usually aided in this by De Rossi and often Motta aw well breaking things up in centre midfield.

So with 2 of Wanyama, Schneiderlin, Reed or Cork....

(Obviously this is not going to happen as we would never pay him what he could get in America. Not like he needs the money though...)

Overseas is expected as players at English clubs are very highly priced due to the money in the game in this country (see Shane Long, Ross McCormick etc). I assume it is a loan to buy to the end of the season (especially if adaptation is not certain)

So you would expect him to tell our players to go to Liverpool even if he joins us? Would be odd. A novel transfer tactic by Brendan that...

Yep. That's exactly what I would expect him to do. He will be scouting for Liverhampton wherever he goes ..........................

Listening to talksport (I know) yesterday, they asked the Arsenal fans who they should sign "in budget".
    So many said Schneiderlin

Call me crazy but I don't think he is "in budget" for Arsenal.
They have lots of money but they do 'budget' it how they feel it should be spent. I don't think Wenger believes big money should be spent on non-attacking players.

Also, consider that his price will surely be a £25m minimum. That is what Khedira was being priced at. And for that reason I don't think Wenger's internal valuation, often stated as being very precise (he will pay Amount X and no more) will value Morgan at that amount

I suppose the fans are just working off the talk about how much cash arsenal have

    Wild over-analysis time!

The trepidation suggests that he might be coming from a league where goals are a little easier to come by...might also suggest that he's either young, struggled at a previous stop, or both. That and our past moves could mean another raid of the Eredivisie; Luuk de Jong would fit, but he's only just returned from his ill-fated trip to Germany. So instead, we're definitely signing Luc Castaignos, who played alongside Tadic last season with Twente.
