A long article about how well Koeman thinks we are doing and how we are a hard team to beat. About half way down he talks about the January window...certainly doesn't make it sound like we are in for a buying spree. He says that final decisions haven't been made because it depends on things yet to happen between now and then.

 

Depends few big bids are coming in.

 

Cannot see why we would sell him when we are flying...he's hardly going to depreciate by the summer, is he?

 

Big bids will be there in the summer, as well. Wouldn't sell in January even for an irrational pile of money.

He has clearly said he is staying this season. Would just need another slap.

 

Unless he starts moaning again I would keep him until the end of the season. He could even make £35m seem small.

 

I'd let him moan. Anyway I reckon he'd want to stay in such an exciting season...he knows he has time on his side.

Personally, I'd let Jay go for £20M plus Kane and Eriksen. That should put them off. For Schneiderlin I'd swap him for Sanchez. Arsenal need Morgan more than they need Alexis, in my opinion. Oh, and the other clubs can top up the incoming players excessive wages, as well.

 

Not rumours and Jay I can see going for around £20m.

 

He might, sure. But assuming we don't collapse in December, he's simply too important to move midseason.

 

We can't sell Morgan this January. He is potentially worth an extra £50m if he can get us CL football. So, we'll sell for £80m!

 

Too early for negative speculation. I'm saving mine for the Christmas period, as we approach Jan 1st.
