Any other territorial disputes you want to settle with the 1500 year arguement. In that case you would need to agree that Britain have no right to occupy Ireland etc. 1500 years ago = irrelevantt to the modern day 60 years ago = still quite relevant to the modern day
Correct. Otherwise Australians wont mind ****ing off out of there, and americans giving the land back to the native americans. What happened 1500 years ago happened. what happened 60 years ago is a whole lot different. as for the violence, cant justify the hatred from either side..
Who said that. I have major issues with the mindset in general that just because you are able to defeat a nation militarily gives you the right to occupy it. Bit like the schoolyard bully, yes Im sure you can beat up the smaller kid and take his dinner money but does that mean you should?
But it was'nt just the Palestinians who got bullied was it? Did the Egyptians and the Syrians not get their arses handed to them too?
would israel have won anything without the US? the debate with palestine and israel is more complicate than people think the way to look at it is, is it land that belongs to arab or european? Jesus was a palestinian by birth and arguably jewish The notion of Israel is based not on nationality but on religion. jew is not a race as the books tell us, its a religion. The hypocricy of the so called 'athiests' amazes me on these fora. they are all against god and religion, yet believe israel has rights because it says so in their religious scriptures The issue with religion is also irrelevant with regards to muslims in the area, as the whole area converted to islam. Its a bit like britain and the church of england As for going back, its not only the race rules that change when arguing about israel lets look at the biblical element. who was Abrahams first born? ismael or isaac? the bible asserts it to be isaac. yet ismael was born years before rectify this mistake in the bible and the rights are easily sorted
