The Arse have well and truly had our pants down on this one. They knew he'd be out for the season so the loan was simply to get him off their wage bill onto ours. He'll never kick a ball for us. I doubt that he'll ever kick a ball for anyone.
It was a season ending injury wasn’t it, complete hamstring tear which is a very serious injury and a long recovery, so it sounds like he’s progressing at a fantastic rate.
It’s definitely painful attempting to deliver a dry bumming. Particularly if you’ve got your winter coat on.
Don't think it was ever said he'd miss the entire season. He got the injury back in the summer and Baz Cooper was reporting back then that we won't see him until after Christmas. So him being close to fitness now is probably about what was expected.
Rosenior hopes Ebiowei will come through with no issues and put himself into contention for Saturday's home clash with struggling Cardiff City. "He's right on course for where he needs to be," said the City boss. "Hopefully he'll be here by the middle of this week, then we need to assess him, see where he's at and then take it from there. "I can't wait to get him." There's also encouraging news on the return of Dimitrios Pelkas, as reported last week by Hull Live. The Greek international has been sidelined since the draw at Watford last month with a knee problem picked up early on in Hertfordshire, but has been making swift progress back at home in Greece working with his own specialist, in conjunction with both City's medical team and the Greek national team doctors. It's expected Pelkas will return to training in the next few days and providing he suffers no reaction, he could be in line for a return when City face Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium on February 11.
Baz's update after speaking to Rosie - Karl Darlow, Jacob Greaves and Ryan Longman in contention for Saturday. Dimi Pelkas and Malcolm Ebiowei start training on Monday. Allahyar also back on the grass.
Just listened to Paul Hurst at GY about the deadline signings and when asked about Josh Emmanual and also what was the cause of his illness, he apparently fainted and they could find out the reason for it.
