We seem to have a habit of getting people back too quickly... training ground work outs are totally different to someone kicking lumps out of you, maybe this new injury has come about by Allahyars desperation to impress and be involved...
I just saw Rosenior say it’s the same hamstring but not the same injury. I think playing him in back-to-back games so soon didn’t do him any favours.
Just out of interest, has anyone heard anything on what is happening with Josh Emmanuel? It seems as if he is the elephant in the room that nobody asks or talks about.
Injury update from Rosie... "We've got a few niggles (ahead of Saturday's game against Huddersfield). Tobias (Figueiredo) has had an injection in his ankle. It's nothing serious and he should be available for the weekend." "Allahyar (Sayyadmanesh) was really down (after coming off through injury against Wigan). We (initially) thought it might be serious. Fortunately, it's not as bad as we first feared. We need to make sure we look after him both physically and mentally." "Adama (Traoré) has been involved in training. He's been out for so long (through injury), so we need to be careful with him. It's great to have another player involved with the squad."
Jacob Greaves Injury: Side knock picked up at Sheffield United Expected return date: This weekend Malcolm Ebiowei Injury: Knee Expected return date: Next weekend for the game against Cardiff City Allahyar Sayyadmanesh Injury: Hamstring strain Expected return date: Mid-February Dimitrios Pelkas Injury: Knee Expected return date: Next month Adama Traore Injury: Hamstring tear Expected return date: Back in training but still a few weeks away from a possible first team call-up Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand Injury: Groin problem Expected return date: Unclear
The report above that Traore is back in training but still a few weeks away does worry me. I thought this was the case back in December. Shades of Evandro or Jon Toral?
"(Ryan) Longman is 50/50 (for Saturday's game against QPR). He didn't train this morning (due to a back injury)."
Pelkas back in training middle of next week, needs 10 days or so to be back match fit. He was meant to be out for 3 months so massively ahead of schedule.
Liam's just said on't radio that he's not in his plans... why the **** we gave him the no. 10 shirt is beyond me...
Not at all, in Dec it was very very very light work so was technically back in training. He is now in full training with the squad. It's absolutely nothing to worry about and exactly what you'd expect from a injury like the one he had
