Most of the squad are happy here. A few want to leave but we're trying to sort that out. We'll get by That sounds really good as a statement. Can't think why he didn't say that instead.............NOT
And like reed is going to come out and say a few people aren't happy. Every boss in a company will say his/her employees are happy even if a handful aren't sitting pretty. Laura, you obviously know little about business. Advertising unrest in public is a recipe to disaster.
No it didn't. It portrays the club moving foward. If we have one player unhappy from a group if 40, then "all the players are happy" is a fair statement. I'm happy. Thankfully for you, it's not "your club" You wouldn't be making any of these posts if Artur was number one in the managers eyes.
There is a difference between saying nothing and saying what he did. I wouldn't for a moment suggest he said a few were unhappy. That sentence could have been left. Don't worry beefy I'll hang around even if boruc had to go. Believe I am entitled to an opinion even if you do not like it
He can be number 1 or 10. I'm allowed an opinion and mine even if it is the minority is that one sentence les could have left out
You didn't interpret what I wrote. Yes you are entitled to your opinion, but I am saying you wouldn't be expressing it here if Boruc hadn't been told he wasn't number one. You can deny that all you like, but it won't wash here.
I don't understand all this "bad PR" stuff in regards to Artur Boruc. Football teams win new fans and keep them primarily by playing attractive football and achieving success on the pitch, not in the PR department. One of the best ways of improving a team is to have competition for every place between at least two really good players. All the top teams have this, it's essential. So in what way is Artur being treated badly by bringing in a keeper with whom he will have to compete for his place? And why should we fans be alienated from the club we support because the players have to compete for their places?
You shouldn't be at all. Your club is doing what is best for your club. Some on here have somehow turned this into an artur boruc debate. It is not. I believe re unhappy players there is a French man desperate to leave. If you fans are happy with what les says then the club have done their job with his statement
Goalies know what the situation is when they sign up in that position. Only one can play and there are no alternative positions to play in if you are not picked. A confident keeper would just do his best and wait his moment. I like Boruc and would have been happy if we'd got a decent back up, but am very happy to go one better and get a good keeper in and have Boruc as back up. Perhaps he will prove he is the better keeper and get his place back, but you don't do that by moaning.
2 players of a squad are "unhappy". As someone previously stated you will say everyone is happy, which is a fair statement. If you let the public know there a couple of players who are unhappy, it will give the media a field day.
God you lot really need to read what I write. At no point have i suggested les tell the media 1 or 2 or 10 players are unhappy. My opinion and it is nothing more than my opinion is that one sentence could have been missed out when whole word knows Morgan is at least one who is not a happy bunny re his move being refused
He probably got asked the question and if he refuses to answer then his words would be twisted. Jeez, it's good PR.
Ok Laura, that's fair enough. What was your interest in making a post that can only be detrimental to the club (a club you said wasnt your club)? A Frenchman or a Pole?
