You are one of the most pessimistic fans I've ever encountered , why not just put your head in the oven now and save yourself some time
Nothing cotradictory as far as I'm concerned with what I said, just pointing out we have wobbled before but I never mentioned about the upcoming game or that we would wobble this time. And does it matter what time scale I use whether its months or years the effect is the same on the supporters. As for mentioning the PL where did that come from in all this?
If there's a club in the league that has a history going back over 100 years and has never had a wobble I'd be amazed. It's the saying it's something we do I thought was a bit contradictory, you might as well say ****ting your pants is something you do if we're talking that kind of timescale as you can go back to when you were in nappies. The PL came from the bit where I said other people saying it's typical City to throw away a good position doesn't really make sense. That's the only season I can think of where we've been in a good position and then had a dramatic decline later in the season to fit the term "throwing it away". Even last season we were never in a commanding position. When we were in L1(?) I did a breakdown of the previous seasons because people were saying the same things then, and in most of the seasons before that we'd done better later in the season than earlier.
