So fo a group of young lads (21-23) where would ytou recmmend? Maga or Ibiza? Taking all things into consideration, i.e. cost is a big factor, etc. For guys like us who dont really care about the sunset etc (you old sad act haha), is maga basically good enough? Or is ibiza really better in every way if we can get the money together?
Aye, well Ibiza IS price as **** if you wanna go anywhere decent, so bear that in mind. I dunno how old you are, but if your still blessed with youth, stick to resorts till your a bit older, if moneys not a concern, do Ibiza! We are doing boat parties there next summer, only 2 like, we can't afford to go after the big promoters over there (yet..), it's just heaven to me that island.
Mate, if it's a lads holiday at that age, always hit a resort. House music was the love of my life (still is...) so I started Ibiza young, but for all out, get ****ed up, pissed, birds lads holidays, Zante & Kavos where the places for me (Mags was class as well mind...). The sunset isn't an age thing, the sunset at Mambo is world famous!
Sunsets lush! I remember sitting there with a spliff (can I say that on here) at 6 in the morning, just getting back from Eden. It was packed but everyone was just chilled, was magical am telling ya.
By the way I was paying 10 euro for a bottle of bud in Eden, plus most nightclubs are anywhere from 30 to 70 euro to get in. A good thing to do is get some drink from a shop and drink it on the beach (it's always packed with a nice relaxing atmosphere) before heading into San Antonio town centre
You can avoid paying for clubs easily by hitting the right beach & looking cool mate, Cala Bassa is usually a good spot for bands, 10 mins on a ferry from San An. Den Bosa is the best place to stay (Space, Bora Bora etc...) but doesn't have any cheaper drinks whatsoever, if that's your thing San An is the only option. I do like San An, but none of the really good **** is anywhere near it. Re saying spliff, you can say what you like, I could be sitting with such a thing round about now, but maybe not. Who knows...
Also BCM is good. Met Frimpong and lethal bizzell in there and chatted to frimpong before he went on stage hahahah. At least drinks are free when you get in!!!
As for Maga V Ibiza debate for me its Maga everytime for the simple fact it has a main strip whereas ibiza you're getting taxis all owa the shop and its costing you peeve money. Worst thing about maga is the ****ing lucky lucky's when they start getting cheeky and the people pulling you off the street to bring you in their 'cool really good vibe words you'd never hear anyone say wicked swicked super dooper bar' **** off man
And for lads asking for reccomendations on maga or Ibiza? If you like your music Bene Cassim in Valencia/Barca one of them is where am heading this summer last years line up included noel gallacher bob dylan stone roses and loads more so always mint line up and its basically just a festival without the ****ing rain and **** toilets!!
That's nothing, we met Vicky and Ricki off Geordie Shore...... And the bad thing about BCM was queing half an hour for a drink, we were buying 3 each at a time cos we couldn't be arsed to queue
