Massively agree. I'm mostly confident we'll get the points needed, but aren't confident in the way we've been playing recently. Some of the players simply haven't put in the shifts they're paid to do. I think the whole of my block wanted to go on and throttle Boyd last night when he just stood and looked at the ball. Elmo hasn't put in a proper shift for weeks, gives up on runs and pulls out of too many tackles - not the Elmo we had earlier in the season. You can possibly excuse nerves, but you can't excuse lack of effort by some. This squad has the ability to beat anyone in this division, but aren't doing it at the minute when they should be professional enough to get the job done. After Ipswich it was a 6 point gap with 4 games to go, 3 of those against the 3 worst teams in the division - we really should have had it wrapped up bu now. We've had endless opportunities to put the promotion race to bed, if we're not careful there won't be any opportunities left. That is the frustrating thing - having the ability but not using it.
The players are trying their best, there is no lack of effort. There is tiredness. Put yourself in their shoes before you bemoan lack of effort. For all the moaners and nitpickers out there, we lose our next game and Watford win theirs. We will still be one point in front. Calm down and support the lads instead of spreading your whiny negativity everywhere. See you in the Premier League.
I think after a long hard season that its caught up with a lot of the first team mentally and physically. I wouldn't be suprised to hear that a number of players are having to play with injuries. I know they get paid for doing this job well, but they are only human. The worst part is we have not given the team the vocal support they have needed at home, big plus the Barnsley game is away because i reckon the players will be more up for it than if it was a home fixture.
Absolutely spot on tommy, I think people were hoping we'd beat a relegated team at home then go to a team fighting relegation and maybe just need a point. As it is we need to go to Barnsley and get 3 after playing so poor against Bristol. Having said that this game should be more open because Barnsley will need a win so hopefully we can sneak a win. We are limping over the line and now hoping others do us a favour
Come on Leicester our old mates if ever you wanted another team to win a game its next Friday, having said that we have got to go to Barnsley with a massive following and show them why we are second top of the league, they need the win we do its a big battle for players and supporters to go out and win
So when Boyd stood and watched a mis-placed pass about 5 yards away from him instead of running to collect it he was putting in all the effort he could? For about 5 games now Elmo has been pulling out of easy challenges, giving up on runs when he could've caught up with the ball and generally looked a lot less interested. Bristol City parked the bus and sat back, so no need for him to play defesively; there were many times in the first half were Elmo could've ran down the wing into empty space to give an option, but instead he stood around just watching. As for the crowd, I'm in E2 - sang from the start till the end. Will always show the team support, even when they play as poor as last night. I bet a lot of the people moaning at people for being 'negative' sit in silence at the KC.

I really wish Aluko wasn't injured, because we need someone who is going to score goals. After Friday i am struggling to see were the next goal is coming from. UTT
We have been in 2nd for a while now so naturally people are excited about automatic. To be in a play off position is what we all wanted but now our expectations have been raised and I think the team will be so deflated and worn down if we don't get automatic that it will be very very hard for them to raise their game enough to get to Wembley let alone win at Wembley.
