Your polite, it was just a comment to him as he is going to college. I guess it is just an American thing. There are lots of varieties of it. The normal version is 3 cups at the back to 1 cup at the front. We also played 5 cubs at the back and a version that was played with 2 tables up against each other and the entire table full of cups. That game normally took 4 people on a team with rotations. Then there was a version we played that was an entire basement with cups, that took the entire fraternity to play. The beer gets warm on the big games so its best to come to the game already drunk. Drinking in college in the US is serious business. All these games have specific rules with punishments for those that violate them.
