The Hull City Brand Guidelines

Perhaps the reason they don't want The Tigers used is because of a clash with the RU club Leicester Tigers and RL club Castleford Tigers as employing a capital T in The would suggest the only club with this name

 

They don't want 'The Tigers' used because Hull City are The Tigers - its the existing name - They want either Hull City Tigers, Hull Tigers or eventually the name he would have changed to next if the FA had allowed him the change to Hull Tigers, namely Allam's Tigers

 

I know you’re taking the piss but if he’d got his way I 100% think the end-game would’ve been to call us Tigers. I’ve said that on here for years.

 

If you write The Tigers that shows it is a nickname. In their deluded little world they will thinking using the Tigers gives the impression it is the official name.

 

This, regarding brand guidelines.

I am not surprised they have released them in this format as they are consistent with their actions. Changing them would have created a furore amid allegations of dishonesty.

notice the theme - I honestly believe that if Allam had got approval to drop City and add Tigers, he would have a precedent to drop Hull and add Allam's at a later date

So the Hull Daily Mail hasn't followed this up. I'm genuinely surprised. This exposes the vindictiveness and nastiness at the heart of our club from their own mouths (or crayons).

For me it's sheer ignorance, stupidity and silliness.

 

And don't forget the Allam Building (often confused with the Allam Medical Building), just to confuse everyone on campus.......

 

It is so easy to protest....just don't go.
I had a lovely afternoon out with my daughter on Saturday afternoon.
Checked on the score at HT and FT and never missed going to the match at all.
I will put all of my £21 monthly fees away and use them in 2025 when the Allams will hopefully have ****ed off.

 

Allams next business venture will be called:

ALLAMS SURGICAL STOCKINGS WITH INTERNAL PANTIES ENTERPRISE & SON

or shortened to
ASSWIPES

Helpfully pretty much all of the signs on the site literally point to Allam!

Wherever you go when you’re looking for other buildings there the signage always has a separate sign just showing the way to Allam

Yes, it's astonishing that they haven't followed this up .... but it isn't in the least bit surprising I'm afraid. Utterly useless and spineless.

 

Pretty much there, although I’d add a ‘using two words - Hull City’ line even though Hull City is listed as the ‘brand’

 

Should mention website as well - change from Hull City Tigers to Hull City

 

Easy, simple and straight forward......but you've more chance of knitting fog then it happening

 

All that stuff should of course be changed when the improved naming guidelines are adopted, as the current website name is on the do not use list.
