Wikipedia says his net worth is 8.4m
The insurance times ( industry media ) also says 8.4m
    No apology required pal

So why not use them as your source?

Wikipedia is not a valid source for anything.

According to Wiki he also invested £10 mil in Eastleigh. How do you manage that if you only have £8.4mil? Or did he used to have £18.4mil, spent £10mil on Eastleigh and now only has £8.4mil left?

And according to the Insurance Times he completed the takeover for a fee reported to be £40mil. Surely he must have had more than £8.4 mil to buy us in the first place. https://www.insurancetimes.co.uk/ne...jority-stake-in-sunderland-fc/1430557.article

There’s people who I think have gone from being SAFC supporters to SAFC critics. They want to judge everything and nothing is or will be good enough.
We all hate where we are and what we’ve become, but people need to get behind the club not constantly slate it. Fortunately, internet world is nothing like the good folks who go to the games and support the club.

I hope your last sentence is right, I have read many posts since the final whistle yesterday saying we should sack the manager, despite him only being here 3 days.

Then after the good news yesterday morning more abuse towards the owners and rumours of the club being in a mess.

I honestly think this is organised against the club as everytime there is a hint of good news, accusations come of bad news and somehow the bad news gains more traction

Honestly Chunk i think it's because it's always easier to be negative than be positive.

Sadly we've been pretty **** over the last few (40) years and that probably takes it's toll on people.

What annoys the crap out of me is the way some people try to interpret negatives into anything positive that's said as heaven forbid they'd actually take a step back and realise that they are jumping at shadows.

Some have been quick to slam the owners when they haven't said something yet in the same breath say it's unproffessional for them to be talking about things.

Oh it's certainly taken its toll on many and it does seems easier to look at the negatives.

I guess I am just a little shocked at how much faster the negative rumours take hold and become "fact" even though they are as substantiated as the positive ones
