The horrible negativity, not just disappointment but bile and vitriol

Where did it come from.
Yes, we are all disappointed at times, and opinions are like arseholes, we all have one, but there is opinion and what seems like pure hatred and anything being negative.
At the minute some of our fanbase is vile.

 

It's horrible, if it's not fans it's staff, it's its not staf its directors.

Some of the posts I have read recently and even tonight have been an utter disgrace

Totally agree Janey, internet keyboard warriors who wouldn't dare say it to your face.

 

I'm trying to, but I can't help responding to personal attacks

 

I'd like to think I could meet any of you in a pub and have the same discussion we have on here.

Some on other places seem to think being anonymous gives them the right to post whatever they like without any comebacks

 

I agree there's way too much negativity and it's getting on my tits. I'm assuming that it's mainly coming from frustration about the lack of news on the takeover so I'm hoping that when that's sorted one way or the other it'll settle down. I know it's been pecking my head and will be the same for everyone.

If it's just going to be the way it is on here for the foreseeable future then it'll be a shame as it's always been fairly balanced and reasonable on this forum.

 

I dont see it on here, I see sensible debate and discussion.

Quite agree and those spouting the vitriol from their keyboard would be as nice as nine pence

 

All I can say Janey, is that I'm looking forward to a good day out with 1800 of our fan base tomorrow.

They'll be optimistic, enthusiastic and friendly as always.

The miserable bitter pro-pessimits aren't like the people I know in real life.

I pity them tbh.

I'm not sure. ,Things have been building for a few years. The Short apathy, the double relegation and then the optimism of last season. Many, many people were prepared to suspend their feelings of upset and betrayal when the new regime came in. The ultimate failure of last season and the underwhelming start to this season has unleashed the anger and frustration in many people.

 

Some of what has been posted goes way beyond anger and frustration in my opinion

Yeah you are probably right but these arguments build and build. People offering opinions, then others arguing against that then the anger and the insults build. I think people are terrified at the fact that we are a millions miles away from being a top team again
