Doesn't ring a bell, it was a geezer with a tache and yes I remember him being henpecked and the greenhouse with a bottle of wine was male sanctuary.

Ak - just a thought but this thread is now over 1600 posts and 30 pages and is two months old today - happy birthday to it :)

Is it worth doing what you did on 606 and creating a new nest every so often just to prevent it becoming unwieldy?

Sounds like it - I just had a scan on Wiki and the gasmask was in fact the ashes of a mate from the war and he was Stavely. Hen pecked young husband was Carter - that brought it all back....

Try this..

Very quiet in our office and on-line at moment - India are batting, so all of our developers, functional & BW consultants and assorted techies are suddenly "unavailable"......

Good and after the weekend he should be better - ear infections are miserable with kids

Where did that two months go?

Lenny, I quite like the nest not being broken (so to speak). I think the challenge for all of us is to create new threads when there's a new "topic" whilst recognising that today's Nest has us admiring the size of OFHs greenhouse and comparing the speed of Firefox and Chrome :) Where else?

Maybe we should return to the old 606 notion of stuff actually being a Hornet in the forum (ie football matters, trust me it does). This would leave the Nest to grow organically under our collective stewardship (damn was trying to think of a horticultural term)? Just a thought.

COYH - we have had so little footie news recently that we've had to pad out the nest with our own bits and pieces. Hopefully we'll have some transfer news very soon and maybe even takeover rumours to steer us back onto the subject of football.

If not you'll all be hearing about the rest of my family....................and there's a lot of them!!!<doh>

Seeing as the picture of my shed was popular, I could nip outside a get another, this time showing the grass I have just cut.:emoticon-0116-evilg

Purely on a volunteer basis I cut it on the approach road into the village. Everyone does a bit and it keeps the place looking nice and tidy. While I have been constructing, the grass decided to grow at a furious pace, and the occasional person who might walk down there kept looking at it.:(

Shame got the better of me this afternoon, so it was a two phase job, strimmer first followed by mower. The thermometer says it is 24C so will need to replace some body fluids this evening.:emoticon-0103-cool:

Was thinking not about changing the content of the nest just perhaps for manageabilty going back to Nest 1 then 2 etc - but dont feel strongly about it at all - what do others think?

It would be good to have more football related threads in addition so that this becomes more of a chat thread and the others where the "serious" stuff takes place
