    Afternoon all

    Good walk for a couple of hours down Hampshire lanes this morning. Lots of good colour in the beech trees, including on my lawn! Shoulder of lamb now marinading in beer and a Melton Mowbray pork pie ready for lunch. Just need a good result this afternoon to go with these treats...

    Sounds a cracking morning theo - I love going out for walks in the Autumn. I have been lucky this year so far, I don't know where the leaves from my trees have blown to!

    Afternoon all. A long lie in for me today as I was up till 5 trying to salvage a ruined friendship and get it back on course. It was worth it though, it worked.

    Been in the loft for card racks so mum can display them at her stall later and found some funny things whilst there. Now to have lunch and kick off some uni work before the fireworks this evening. I will miss the game though unfortunately but I will be there in spirit.

    COYH!!!!

    last year spent a lot of time brushing up leaves , this year I havent bothered untill today as they have all been blown off and been blown against one wall , much easier to collect this time round! <laugh>

    bit of wood sanding and waxing , a spot of black hammerite on the ironwork and this sewing machine plus table is good to go!

    Good news and bad news!
    The good news is Leo has /is doing really well on the not 606 I know the score! (ie on the first page!) <applause>
    The bad news is he has predicted us to lose!:(

    Im watching the 4nations rugby league and it just goes to show that refereeing standards are dropping across all sports!!
