Afternoon all,
Bit of a nightmare day today, rushed back from town as we had a Rep coming round to give us a quote for the work on our garage roof. I got home and there were a couple of messages on my home phone saying they could not find our house, despite me telling the office that we live on the Kingsway estate in Gloucester! So I rang the Rep direct and he said he used satnav and it took him elsewhere, so I said you need to be on the Kingsway estate, do you know where that is, no he replied so I gave him directions. Knowing he was only 5 mins away I waited by the front door, 15 minutes later still no Rep so i called him back and he said he had been driving around for too long now and I would have to get someone else. So I called the office back and said could you send me another rep as this one could not find my house, no they said he was the only rep and we would have to use another company!!! talk about spitting feathers and lack of customer service!!!!

It's a nice day here in Brizzle with the sun out ,

 

Morning all. I won't be posting for a couple of weeks as I'm off on holiday this evening. We are flying to Auckland then cruising to Brisbane on Monday. My internet access will be limited, especially on the boat.

I'm rather pleased that I won't be following the Leicester game thread. That probably means we'll win!

I don't think the Rep was actually from round these parts! The estate is not exactly easy to miss

 

Disappointing Norway, but to be fair there was not much difference between the two sides. There seems to be a belief that rushing around will be enough, and what seems to be lacking is someone who has a bit more vision. All season I have heard Jon Marks saying that when we keep the ball down we look better, and Saturday there were a few moments when that was true. However far too often that movement would break down because of the speed we were trying to do it at. When I last managed to get over there was a lot of moans about John Eustace and his love of little chipped balls forward. It seems to have infected a lot of players as I lost count of the times that a chipped thirty yard pass was made making it very easy for a defender to cut it off.
