I thought the intention was joint ownership between a football club and the games legacy people. That way it will be used most weeks in the year and the country gets the biggest bang for its buck.

Here you go H, i hope it clears up soon!! Would kicking the kids out do the same though??

Glad to see no exotic Icelandic dishes there, AK - whale's penis soup or similar! :)

Some fairly impressive stats in that 'museum' website - one whale penis measuring 176cm!

Same size as Wayne Rooney, and the similarities don't end there <laugh>

From The Daily Mail "Wayne Rooney has written personally to UEFA in a bid to limit his European Championship ban for his red card in Montenegro to a single match."

I don't place much credence in that - seriously doubt that he can write! :)

Rooney got a car to write to UEFA? Blimey, that's clever....apparently UEFA take previous history of red cards into consideration and that's why there is talk of a 3 match ban. Personally I would ban him from breathing....

Anyone off to the Vic tonight to see the Ghana v Nigeria game?

It did look last week as if a reasonable number of tickets had been sold.

Tough decision, Frenchie...drive 80 miles to watch two teams I don't support play a pointless friendly or stay at home with a squid supper being cooked by Mrs H, washed down with a Sauvignon Blanc...and after a few seconds deliberation, the squid and Sauvignon wins...

Save the voice for Saturday theo, they might need it. I assume that you will be there. I will be in the LR with my little group that I am hoping will have a good afternoon. I will not attempt to enter the ground with a string of garlic round my neck this time. ;)
