I've just had a great bit of luck to start the weekend. Due to an error with the Vodafone website, I have managed to wangle an iphone 4 for free, 300 mins and unlimited text. Should normally cost £199 for the phone and a higher monthly charge. :1980_boogie_down:

Wonder if Hornette is still off on her 14 mile walk. Is it only in Oz that a 7 mile walk is a euphemism for a nooky session?

Perhaps she indulges twice on Fridays <laugh>

Thanks for the latte Ak :)...it went down a treat!

Yep, W-Y, Moonwalk it is :) not quite up to the Marathon Leonardo lol...26.2 miles, and in Edinburgh coz when i booked, the London one was full! i hope it won't be too hilly! lol. Actually i miscalculated this morning and ended up doing 15.4 miles which means i have under 11 to go...why does that still sound quite a lot? :)

Norway, doing 8k-10k every day is no mean feat! It's fab :)..

    Crikey Sandy, that's amazing!

Shattered this afternoon, but it's getting easier...sort of! lol

i have to admit, i can't see England winning it, but it'd be rather splendiferous if we could pull it off :) England-Flag.gif

No cricket or rugby to worry about, a small icehockey and football team. It is good being from a small nation we never expect anything.

Scientific research has proven that the two activities expend the same amount of energy, so a resounding Yes!

Time for a View attachment 1546 or two whilst waiting for my wife to return from her walk :emoticon-0105-wink:

It is very strange that at this time of year in France all of the garden centres, DIY centres and even the larger supermarkets have displays of garden furniture, parasols, gazebos and BBQ's.

Nothing that odd you may well say, but sat in the middle of such displays you will always find a cement mixer. It would seem that every self respecting French householder must have one. <yikes>

Yes I do, I really need mine. :emoticon-0103-cool:

According to my mobile phone that hangs around my neck when I wander round the fields, I walked 2.4 miles today and burnt 184 calories.

Anyone know how many calories in a bottle of Bordeaux?

    Could that be the problem?

Only one solution. Walk more. ;)

Maybe a set of carefully altered scales would be better.:emoticon-0116-evilg

I don't think my earphones have a long enough cable, and anyway I thought I was using up loads of nervous energy. :emoticon-0100-smile

No overtime rate is the same all the time, this week I may have 58 hours last week was 54. Normally is many less but we have some problems and I help mend them.
