Can there be any other club in the Championship with two very experienced full backs, who have only scored three goals between them?

    Are they record breakers?

I think they may be but are we not lucky that they can impove their record by 33% if one marks another goal which is a large improvement.

We should support Plymouth as they let us into the FA Cup final.

That's an interesting choice Dan. Quite infectious in it's cheerfulness. ;)

I am afraid that it is past my bedtime so I will not be able to chat tonight. :(

Mme tells me that I ought to stay off milky drinks for the moment as the cold I had at the beginning of the week has left me with a cough. Thanks for the offer Dan, but I will be taking two spoonfuls of Benylin tonight.

I am off now, so have a good day and don't work too hard. Maybe not the right thing to say to a student. ;)

i would take Sordell off and put Deeney on...i think Deeney and Garner could be a great pairing, and Sordell needs a break, for sure.

Steve Claridge, and there is no word of hyperbole about this, has squarely laid the blame at Mancini's door for the Carlos Tevez incident last night.

Firstly he says that Mancini hasn't managed Tevez over the past two years in the right way.

But as for the incident itself, he says that Tevez had already warmed up at half time (ten minutes earlier), that Tevez's English might have caused a genuine misunderstanding, that Tevez might have seen it as disrespectful for a coach to tell him to warm up rather than the manager. Finally, he says that if Tevez did refuse to play, Mancini should have confronted him there and then to put the rest of the squad, the fans and the world media in absolutely no doubt about what was happening.

That's mad...even if Tevez had warmed up 10 minutes earlier, what's his problem with warming up again? Surely a coach can give word from the Manager to a player without said player going into Prima Donna mode and...if Mancini had confronted him then, he would have looked a complete idiot if Tevez had continued to refuse!
