yep your right , but a few years ago they became a protected species in the UK , because of the "grey imports"

In my eyes a red squirrel isnt a rodent or vermin ,like you I enjoy watching them in the trees! Seagulls, pigeons rats and house mice, possums etc I would class as rodents and vermin !

 

Afternoon all from a very hot and sunny Bordeaux We visited Le Mans yesterday and night stopped over in Nantes, drove south today stopping off in Noirt before arriving here, tomorrow who knows

Vermin are simply animals in the wrong place - as weeds are plants in the wrong place. Vermin may transmit diseases to humans or pets, but then so do many "cute & cuddly" creatures..........

BTW how many possums are there in Norway now?

 

None Vic but there was a load of em in NZ used to call em squash`ems , coz there were lots killed on the roads! hmmm bit like humans !

Hi - I see that entry for the 2012 London Moonwalk opens on Friday morning, you entering again? Looking on their website, I saw the 3 Walk challenge which looked interesting - London, Edinburgh & Iceland. That's 3 marathons in 5 weeks...and you could visit AK!

The did that last year too..at the Edinburgh walk they got the 6 people up on the stage that were doing all three! Only 6 in 10,000...i thought that was amazing! lol

I'm not sure i'll do it next year unless i can find someone to train with...training on my own was hard work.
