He did have a minder, and it was a good job. There were a few complaints about ticket mix-ups but he spoke to the complainants and things were dealt with.

She is, i felt a little shy as to where to sit, with TYO or with H or on my own, and she was very welcoming as were the other members of the family.

:) aw, thanks Dan...actually i only had Master Hornette with me, the other lad is the son of a friend of mine, and on the other side of me is my footie buddy Mark and his son. He's usually joined by his daughter too, but she's gone to Uni this weekend...as his son has done today, so he's going to only have me for company for most of the season, poor love!

It was lovely to meet you, and i'm glad you sat with us and joined in with TYO, it alll seemed to work out perfectly :)

What an absolute crap week-end. After watching that awful display on Saturday, I had hoped for a quick trip down to the South Coast to drop Little MissW_Y off, put together an chest of draws at her new house and the eff off quick to bandit country to put my feet up.....well because of some effing protest by bikers and those complete cocks who think they look good sitting on Italian Sowing Machines and wearing crap clothes from the 60's, it took nearly 4 hours to get there instead of the normal 2. I have no clue if they are protesting about something, but driving 6 abreast at 30 MPH on the M27 and A33 to cause 20 mile tailbacks is not going to get themselves much support from motorists. In fact the next time one of them tries to weave between the traffic on a busy M1 or M25, guess who will not be pulling over to let them through...they can **** off. They did the same thing on the M25 a couple of weeks ago and then caused mayhem in Hampshire yesterday - it did not help that there was a caravan convention in The New Forest as well...Carvan's and Scooter tossers - what a nightmare!
    Large Expresso please AK..

Morning W-y and yes they were protesting against further erosion off their riding rights by the eurocrats ! although like you I dont think they did it the right way ! a long tine ago when they fought the helmet law there was a huge and peaceful demo in trally square which did the same job and raised awareness to their cause! Still lost though! and the right to wear a helmet or not ,to make your own choice was removed! There has been a steady attack over the last 25 yrs on the motocycling fraternity by politicians and buerocracy! If it would help I could give you more details! from a riders point of view;) agree with you about caravans though !

Norway - Eroding what rights? It might help there cause to get other road users onside instead of pissing them off and having no clue why they are doing it...personally I don't give a monkeys if bikers want to wear helmets on not, that is their decision, so I doubt if I would support any other changes they feed unreasonable and would probably support them....If I knew what the issue was...

Morning all, what a poor performance at the weekend. I only caught the second half as dragged out shopping and couldn't drive back any quicker. Typical that the only game I'm going to see on TV this season is the one I'd rather have missed!!

On the plus side I did manage to get 60 points on the WPL this week, sort out my front garden, clean the house and go for a nice long run with a couple of mates on Sunday morning (couple of big hills so legs aching today) :D

    Hello Sandy!
W-y I can Pm you with a brief recent history of anti bike legislation by uk and european authorities if you like! one of the best was airbags on motorbikes that went off when you hit a pothole!! They actually forced major manufacturers to mass produce these ,before it was chucked out for safety reasons due to pressure brought to bare by riders rights groups , such as MAG and BMF ( which do include a number of MP`s) it is an interesting topic I am willing to discuss ! but prob best in pms as I dont want to bore the rest of the nest:)

    Morning all, just. ;)

Been to school for the Monday torment, although this week our tutor was the one to suffer. Talk about a bunch of unruly school kids, I think we were worse today. <doh>

OFH in favour today as I remembered that it was the wedding anniversary. Still I must get and do some jobs now. My rat has not been tempted by the cheese bait that we set, so I think it must have done a runner and it is time to cement the wall up.
