Morning all, a day of tidying the house, breaking up paths and no doubt moving gravel. Oh well cant complain, I could do with the exercise! Weather wise its sunny and lovely with gusts of wind keeping it cooler.

Well maybe the weather is a blessing in disguise then. It gives you a little time to recuperate after a long time working. You certainly deserve it.

I have two meetings today. One was at kl08:00 and the other is at kl16:00, why can someone not arrage them for a reasonable time. One is too early and the other is late so I may not be able to collect Little Ak from swimming pool.
The fog is gone but is still over the fjall on the other side of Eyjafjördur so the hills look a lot smaller.

Did anyone participate in the annual non-league weekend? I must say I watched a thoroughly entertaining 2-2 draw between Hendon and Lewes, still suffering the consequences today of getting drenched by rain and eating a decidedly dodgy burger. Conclusion, non-league football not good for the health!

i'd have gone to see Northwood if i'd been here. i keep meaning to do that!

The trouble with holidays is that when you get back, your pupils have forgotten they're supposed to have a lesson and aren't at home when you get there! Grrrrr!

Tomorrow is a problem. I have two football matches to try and keep a record of here.

Starting at kl16:15 is Ísland U21 - Noregur U21 at Kópavogsvöllur and
starting at kl18:00 is Ísland - Kýpur at Laugardalsvöllur

To attend both matches is impossible and see all of each match as the fields are 4kms apart.

I did notice that in mai Ísland beat Búlgaría 6:0 in a women's international football game and I am sure England's men are a lot better than our women - at football before anyone has a funny idea.

If given the choice I would probably have watched a team affiliated with Watford but as a good friend of mine is the chairman of the Hendon supporters trust I wouldn't want to be accused of cheating on him with another non-league club!!

To be honest they looked exactly the same as the footie boots I used to have when I played, mind you I used to wear mine for hockey as well back in the day when hockey was played on grass, much more fun!
