    Morning all..... raining on and off up there..... thinking about daughter and her girl friends camping at the Leeds Fest <laugh>

    Mme and myself are getting ready for the month trip to Bhopal end of this week..... endless gardening to do :(

    That is the trouble with gardening - it is endless - we have decided our veg plot is too big - so we are having a new fence put up and going to turn most of it over to pigs :)

    Just a couple of thoughts about today at the Vic. Clearly I wasn't there, but there were a couple of comments that made me take note. Firstly Jon Marks said that the pitch looked magnificent. Has this come about from the club employing it's own ground staff again rather than have in contractors? Does it really look that good?

    Secondly I spotted that Baz took his first pitch walk and received a good round of applause. I wonder what that signifies? Does he feel that he is doing his best for the club and is prepared to take the bag off his head, or is it still part of a plan to get the sceptics on board before ditching them. According to Jon Marks there is money to get a striker in and the club are still trying to. Wee McGinn also seemed to be in the know about further signings, but knows when to keep his mouth shut. He also gets very excited about nearly goals, but is prepared to say that someone should have done better.

    I like what McGinn said but was that just the accent and the same first name as me....
