Precisely! Its bad enough to lose a job, but to loose it due to a stupid mistake or through something avoidable is even worse!!

Just a wee bit of info that I have received in my e-mails, that maybe relevant if you live in the Watford area. The club are currently discussing with the community radio station "The Vibe 107.6FM" the possibility of broadcasting matches alongside 3CR. Not instead of, but in addition to. Sorry I don't know what coverage the station has, all I know is that I can't get it.

Could end up looking like you're trying to type something in Welsh!

Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer. Peler Gurney,

Peter Davy, Dan'l Whidoon. Harry Hawk,

    Tom Cobley .

I believe that Mr B was given the above list of players we are trying to sign which is his reason to increase the budget.;)

Morning All, Bright and sunny start to the day and the temperature has dropped to acceptable levels for the first time in a week. The most comfortable places during this spell have been in the car, with the aircon at full blast, or in the freezer department in the supermarkets.

Still I have lots to do today and hope that when I get home the Player is working. I feel sorry for Jon Marks having to work with so many fools. :(

    Morning all

A grey and wet one down here. Was planning a trip to the Rose Bowl but it looks more like the fruit bowl today...Mrs H and I will be using our generous harvest of Victoria plums to make jam this afternoon. Just needs the scones and the clotted cream then...

With you on the yummy...and certainly one of my favourites, along with damson, and blackcurrant. And though I love all fruit, never been a big fan of strawberry jam which never tastes like strawberries to me.

    Afternoon all.

Not a fan of jam or any kind. Although my Grandad does make his own jam.

I don't like strawberry jam either for exactly the same reason! It always seems to taste a bit synthetic.

I like jam sanwiches and with Mum's homemade jam I've rediscovered them! Although she thinks it very odd that I eat my jam sandwichs and then have crisps, but that's what I had to do at my childminders and i suppose it's ingrained in me! We had to eat sandwiches first (whatever the filling) and then we were allowed to have our crisps - makes perfect sense to me!

My mum used to eat jam sandwiches with a slice of cheddar cheese in them. We've just finished jam-making (one lot of Victorias and one lot of dark plums) and I think I might try the cheese thing just for old time's sake...
