A perigree moon, if I'm not mistaken - happens every twenty years or so.

It has been claimed, by those who believe such things, that their occurrence coincides with a catastrophe of some sort - certainly was the case in Middlesboro yesterday.

Speaking of that - does anyone know if the club asked the ref to consider rescinding AM's first yellow?

BB, thanks for that.

Sat in the living room last night with Mrs H (no curtains) saying how spectacular the full moon looked...a wonderful effect as it passed through bare tree branches too. Almost looked close enough to touch, though I seem to remember it's 356,577 km away (of course I don't...wonders of google).

Don't know why but it reminded me of being read a Brer Rabbit story when I was but a kid...the one about persuading Brer Bear to go fishing in a deep pond to catch the moon which, Brer Rabbit convinced him, had fallen in. Suppose the moon has always been a potent symbol

so, is that it? have we officially left the bbc?

I do like it here, but's very high tech isn't?

and how do you do the graphics things?

is there a guide somewhere?

I love that there's no 3 minute rule

what's the stuff about being on a distinguished road all about? surely I'm on a yellow brick road?

Hi Rob - no I don't think we have officially left the Beeb but are gaining experience here as we have little confidence that 606 will survive.

None of us have any idea of the statistics etc or the distinguished road but hey ho - you don't need to pay attention to those bits.

Easy to post and quick responses as no 3 minutes as you say

It does look like the end of BBC 606. I am now hooked to Not 606. This has now become the first website I log on
to when I go on tinterwebs. Find myself more interested in checking the latest responses to the Hornet's Nest rather than as to what is happening in the world! I imagine, in the future, if I read an unbelievable story on the BBC website, I will log on to Not 606 to see if the story is true!!

horental - watching the highlights last night, Malky's red card certainly looked harsh. He did seem to stop the ball and pick it up before it left the field, but it was going to go out of play anyway, so why not just a word of warning?

rob to add pictures to your post click on hte Go Advanced button and just click on things to find what they do. To add a picture as an avatar you look in Settings or My Profile and then look for the edit avatar command.

I like that one theo on several levels.<laugh>

Just had a look at the situation down at Plymouth. They really are very close to liquidation.

The administrator doesn't have enough cash to pay the players or staff. The PFA will help out with the players, but yesterday the fans did a collection on behalf of the staff. They think about £5000 was raised on the day and hope to do some more for them.

Good on the fans, but if a buyer is found for the club, will they just be shunted into the sidings?
