Need to stop the criminal element communicating and co ordinating efforts , Maybe closing down local phone masts in trouble spots , leaving only emergency services available!

 

Hopefully there will some heads banged tonight if it kicks off again! We need to have Law and Order, not just a TV programme either.

 

I suspect Syria would object just a tad!

Why not borrow the idea the Argentinian Military Junta had - take them on a plane trip across the Atlantic and show them the door half way.

Or send them over to Afghanistan to try their tricks on with the Taliban - see where that gets them.

 

Was thinking that last night mate but it could cause problems in just coordinating the emergency phone calls!

 

emergency services can use there walkie talkies like in the old days! the Network is still there for that ! In any conflict , communication is key , take out enemy comms and you have a big advantage!

Morning all, Sunny here but not all that warm. What we should do is send all convicted criminals into the army and over to Afghanistan with a rifle and a canteen and some ammo. Then when they have served a set time frame depending on the crime (2yrs for theft/robbery and 10 for Sexual offences and 15 years for murder) or until they are killed. If they are lucky and get back unhurt they will think twice about re-offending!! It also means that we can bring back some honest men and save the lives of those who give so much for so little!!!

 

Problem is Dan these guys would join the taliban!

 

We are dealing with the brain dead here! you could give them a lobotomy and it would make no difference!

 

The Taliban would not want them. We are Infidels to them and not worthy!! They would just piss the Taliban off and end up being shot for being asses!!!

Dan the taliban would take them and use them as canon fodder , maybe not such a bad idea afterall!

 

The problem is Dan, if I was serving in the Army, I would not want to stand side-by-side with these waste of spaces! Yes send them into service training with a hard-arse sergeant, and knock some sense into them, but I wouldn't want our real service men and women having to rely on them - as soon as the Taliban come with anything worse than a wet fish, they will run off, crying for their mummy, moaning something about their human rights!!

 

Exactly!! Win-win! Either they die fighting the taliban and take them with them, or they get shot by the taliban for fun. Either way the scum are off our streets and we can say it was an act of war and therefore have not breached Article 2 ECHR!!!

 

Very true Kev I do like the idea of boot camp and some Army DI's beasting them though!

 

Yep, send them to the army training camps, show them what real discipline is!

 

I do hope that we are learning something out of this. What could it be like in a years time when the place is heaving with foreign visitors?

 

Sorry - have I wandered into some sort of Fascist Support Group here? I don't condone or support one little bit of mindless violence that has gone on the last few nights but what are you guys getting off on? For goodness sake we live in a free Democracy - if it cannot deal lawfully with the criminal element then it has to look at the society that it has created not start talking about Argentinian junta and Afghanistan Taliban measures - if any of you are serious (sorry if I have mistaken this and it is really a shared joke) then you need treatment yourselves.

I thought the Nest was for broadly light hearted comment and banter - if you are all so angry why not put this on one thread where you can all decide how far you will go to destroy these thugs?
