But what are you basing this all on?? A gut feeling?? If/when someone starts actually winding people up then we should stop them, but not before. It might just be that he was online then but after that has not been on. We all spend time on here and have been known to be unreachable for hours, myself included. I am not saying re-open all the threads, but what is wrong with the "What do you think Watford's starting line up should be?" and the "What Do You Love Most About Watford?". I could easily have created these threads and nothing would have been said. But because a new person starts them and several others it is a bad thing? Im not having a go, but could someone explain the reasoning for closing them, and assuming this guy is a WUM??

 

Norway, I must admit that I wish I had highlighted this guy when I first saw all his posts, but did the I am sure someone else will do it I was lazy! His absence since posting speaks volumes in my opinion, I hope he comes back and explains his actions. I know when I first went on the 606 boards I watched and read for a while then posted, but was still quite nervous and it took me a while to get used to all functions. But our dear visitor was certainly aux fait with all the functions available!

 

Thank you Al will you explain what happened to Dan I am getting tired of repeating myself to all and sundry!

Well it now feels like the season has started with SLB's prediction league alive and kicking

 

Guys - I gave up my right to make decisions when i stopped being a Mod - I cannot say what I would have done. All I know was this was the most unusual "entrance" we have had and threatened to take over other threads by the sheer volume - do we want one person starting a load of very similar threads most with silly polls etc? If it was someone we knew and trusted it might have seemed different. I think Norway has been fair and given a chance for LLoyd to get back and if all seems fine later they can be re-opened - until then I remain suspicious of his motives

 

I see he is now back in a normal conversation (news thread) so hopefully he will become another valued member of our community

 

And i have PM'd him and will show any replies i get to N. If i am wrong i will hold my hands up and appologise.

That is not an explanation ! I stand By my original call that last post is taking note of my cricket posts and asking what a wum is come on !!!!!!

I am shocked at the lack of support from Dan , The wum has managed to divide us and eat up my precious free time !
I am going to bed now due to starting at 0515 tomorrow , I wont take any decisions in anger tonight,However If I am feeling the same way tomorrow evening..........

 

and of course he has achieved the classic zero/hero/peruke/duck objective of having us talk about HIM and not the normal subjects - anyway that is my last comment on him - he is a Mod problem if at all not mine

 

I apologise Norway, I should not have let a fool divide us. If he has not answered my message by tomorrow morning, i will be happy for you to do what ever you please. I support you when ever i can, i just felt we should give him a chance. He has had that and he seems not to care.

Dan - both you and Norway have done brilliantly here - potential wums are really hard to deal with and neither of you got angry but have been measured inyour approach - in his latest post he claims to be only 14 which if true explains a lot and means that with guidance he can contribute well without winding us all up
