can someone tell me how it makes sense not to be able to delete your own posts on a thread anymore?! To not be able to delete your own thread was bad enough, but not to be able to delete a post?? That's just ridiculous!

    hmmpfh!

    /rant (for now! lol)

Morning All, although for various reasons I don't think there are too many of us about.

Must try and remember to fire up the Hornet Player this afternoon. I can hear Mme already asking why football is being played before the cricket season has finished. She has a point, but then she also remembers the time when the league didn't start until the fans came back from their holidays.

I can't! :) But you're right - it doesn't make sense. Perhaps, if you have posted something cringingly embarrassing that you want to get rid of, you could just try editing it to show a blank post?

Daily Mirror report that "Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is set to swoop for Manchester United youngster Danny Drinkwater"

    That's a relief then <laugh>

Taking your son out for a drive - is this a driving lesson??? My Dad taught both my sister and I to drive ...... my sister argued all the way, whereas I thought "he knows his stuff (IAM etc.)". Plus the fact that I'd been riding motorbikes for a while (I guess I can admit that now Mr Plod!).

Anyway she passed her test first time (short skirt, low top????) and I failed (on the emergency stop). My Dad went beserk. A week later he got a bill from the garage for new brakes ...... and apologised to me (1st and only time). He paid for my retest and I passed!

I see your signature says you understand both offside and LBW rules ...... I don't, not since they messed about with the "interfering with play" interpretation!!!

After three days of searching I have finally located my plumbing bits and bobs. A huge DIY place in Limoges actually knew what I wanted, don't have it in stock, but will be able to order for me. Unfortunately they will only take an order in store, so a 100 mile drive to place the order, then a repeat to collect said items when they arrive.

All of this is due to a change of plan while decorating. Thank heavens I didn't listen to some ex-pats who bring all of their materials over from England. If I had of done it would have required a trip over.

Here we are at Kingsmeadow, the guys are just starting to put the signs up ......... I usually find that is a help as it means we're at the right place on the right day!

    But it is quiet.
