    Mine tends to be fine until a sporting Satturday and then WAM all of those buggers streaming sport knock the performance for six. Then I have to reboot the router regularly!

    Hi guys. The broadband speed here is 4192 and 562. But would that be affected by the number of devices using the internet?? Cos we have about 6 things on it, not at once though.

    The sun is out here and the parcels are just arriving, only 57 today. Then packing to go to AT. It will be a busy day. Thanks for the tea AK!

    Not sure about the exact workings of the test, but normally it shouldn't, yet again it depends on your router settings...

    Try typing 192.168.1.1 into your browser bar, normally it brings your router log-in page up. If not it should be written on the back of your router(/modem). There's a username/password which is usually username/password or admin/password.

    Don't change anything though!!?!?!?! :)

    WOW 26 mega bits per second, you seem to have trumped us all. How much are you paying for that?

    As for sharing devices. With the kids and the laptops, we can have a right drag on the router. If you imagine you have 10 Mbps available from your router and then half the world connects to your router .........the more devices connected each device will get a smaller share of what's available if all are pulling demand at the same time.

    Did I ever tell you about the time I parked outside a hotel in Iceland so that I could "borrow" their broadband? Haha that was a strange evening!!!!

    I have no idea what my router speed is at home.... but I suspect it is rather slow!!

    I guess this will be a rather limited 'audience' but has anyone played FM11 over the internet? I tried setting mine up with a mate last night but neither of us got it to work as the host!

    Afternoon all - last minute packing and then off to the airport for some sun...rather a heavy night in London on the cocktails, but recovering well and will be ready for a couple of pints at the airport.

    All I know is the one at the hotel is a lot quicker than the one I have at home! Good productive day today at work some spares turned up!! I managed to bash by finger with a large torque wrench, cant say good night to the foreman now<laugh>
