Although if Lewis keeps it on the track he is more entertaining to watch!

Apparently the tyres do not favour the McLarens in the heat

Is it not sand in the south sund between Bergen and Trondheim? I did a 5 minute connection in Oslo, ran what seemed like the length of the airport only to find they'd held the plane for me anyway!!!! Noggies can be good like that.

Evening all...and what a fabulous one.

A delicious bbq of marinated lamb accompanied by potato salad, carrot rappe and very drinkable pinot noir. Gooseberry crumble and cream to follow with a drop of Pineau Charente.

What a day here. I am fairly used to the hot weather by now, but today the heat was extreme. I had a look mid-afternoon and in the shade of the pear tree it was 37C. Even now at 10pm it is 32C. I was supposed to be decorating, but most of the time sat down with a cold beer.

Then my computer started to play up again. Downloaded some windows up dates and the whole thing crashed yet again. It is getting beyond a joke and for someone like me it is a problem to get it up and running again.

Still I expect that before long the weather will change with a dramatic storm, so I will not bother to switch it on anyway.:(
