People always have a difference of opinion even when they have been watching the same thing. You only have to listen to the Hornet Player on a Saturday afternoon, then read the comments on here from people at the game. It doesn't mean that either the commentator or the fan is wrong, they have just looked at it from a different stance.

I have some fairly strongly held beliefs and opinions on a number of things, but then I am always mindful that I am probably in a minority and don't wish to impose my views on anyone else. I might say what I think, but then try to let others decide have I lost my marbles yet.

Did I hear that Norway was in the chair for the whole evening.

After all the overtime I am sure you can manage more than the first one. Prices in here are very reasonable compared to bars in your adopted country.

GUYS!!!! Stop the arguing!! There is no need for it anymore, you could just agree that you dont agree and move on. Leo, you are bigger than this and you said yourself to watch out for criticism.

 

The trouble is Frenchie that sometimes you want to make a point and you try very hard to argue that point if you feel the other party has misunderstood you - it is of course about opinions - but underlying those opinions are a few facts and that is the point of a debate - to try to get at those facts - in this case I spent a lot of time trying to do that only for ATR to start getting personal - hey ho - you are right as usual it is not worth pursuing but in life you dont always give up when things seem a bit tough - you try harder to make your point. A waste of time for me tody but it told me everything I needed to know about ATR - especially his final insult. I will move on

I do not often get angry BHD as you and others will know - also I rarely get trapped into continuing a discussion when it gets to this point but in a few rare instances someone is able to press those buttons that set you off. When you are "debating" with a person who ignores every comment you make and question you ask but keeps repeating the same mantra and then accuses you of getting aggressive with no base - well that did it for me however - I am sure we all do it but for the sake of the site I will let it go.

 

Its like me trying to explain to the majority if the cardiff board that MM had less money to spend than DJ. They refused to believe it and insisted i was wrong. In the end H-bomb intervened and mediated. The rest of the Hornets are now intervening and saying leave it be.

I know you dont Leo, you are always the voice of reason, i am just trying to prevent you doing something out of character which you regret later.

 

Thankfully everything is timed and dated so it clearly possible to see who became personal first.

 

ATR, there is no need to get childish saying "he started it". both of you just shake hands and down a drink or two. You both want to end it and it wont at this rate!
