    Well, apart from Brian Laws being linked with Watford and Chris Hughton for the Birmingham job...there's talk of MM taking all the backroom staff with him...though if SD stays and takes over, they may stay. Some of the younger players' tweets are sounding decidedly nervous, which is not a good sign.

    Cardiff are looking to sign Conway, what a shock..and this one sounds hideous!

    "... another #WatfordFC source said club 'like a train wreck'. Eustace, Cowie and 5 admin staff to go, I'm told."

    Then there's this lighthearted tweet:

    Very worrying times, really hope the one regarding Eustace and Cowie isn't true.

    On a lighter note has anyone seen the news about Harry the Hornet on the wobby site .... Saturday 9th July He is going to abseil 80ft down St Marys Church for charity, sounds like a fun day out

    NSI Runavík will have to play against Fulham in the Europa Cup. A difficult journey to Færeyjar for the London team.

    Hmm does sound worrying... But until it happens, then it is all just rumour

    Such as the Conway one, I heard Rangers were back in with him and are in discussions, so more likely to go there than Cardiff.

    I think most will be a case of wait and see who comes in - management and players wise. Yes we may lose a few backroom staff, but that may happen anyway because the new manager might want his own people in!

    I do think it will be a long, hard season... but I think we have gotten used to having those expectations the last few years!!

    We have 8C and a sunny day with no clouds. Tonight sundown is kl0.58 and sun rise is kl1.30. I still have a lot of beer left from the weekend.

    Day at the Rose Bowl today. Nice to spend a day at the cricket, say you saw the first ever Test there, and take your mind off football. If it's any consolation Pompey fans don't sound any more optimistic than us! Oh, and Sangakkara is a very fine batsman!
