Just a quick thank you to all those who expressed an interest in my Urinals post! Inspired me to re-ignite my blog (the link in my signature!). Re-ignition started with a familiar story about my troubles with urinals...

 

We do not care how we do. The team has reached the final of a championship for the first time EVER. The only thing is to beat the locals in the last match but that will never be allowed. Danmörk - Ísland in Danmörk. We got independence from Danmörk in 1944. Independence Day is on Friday, so a day off work.

 

BBW was the urinals post to get people ready for Brighton and what could happen if they are not careful.

 

BBW, glad you're blogging! I shall take some time to read that when i can ..i do love a good blog! I used to write a blog but i can't even remember now what site it was on...so i'm blogging on not606, it's good to get going again, isn't it!

 

Been away all day. BBW - funniest post I've read on the forum. Pure genius my friend - I find cricket games the worst as your around people who have been drinking all day and the splash back can last for AGES!!

In other news - great news about Malky and the Cardiff fiasco...Good luck to Shearer if he goes. Not so many jobs around for MM to be linked too now

Morning all - Bright start in West West London, but rain is on it's way from the West. I expect Lenny is bailing out again...hope the weather improves for Friday as I am off to Ascot on our annual Bookies benevolent fund raising day out...
I wonder what MB rumours and ****e hack journo rubbish today will bring us?

Deisel fuel is cheaper again but only ÍSK0.2 so nothing really.

We have 4C and cloudy, but is not as bad as yesterday.

I saw on the BBC that Alan Shearer does not want to bemanager of Cardiff City so the silly reporting will start again.

Morning All, Just a quick coffee break from my decorating. It never ceases to amaze me how these jobs grow. Yesterday Mme thought that while I was making a mess I might as well move a couple of electrical points. Job done while she was out. Today she wishes to change the skirting boards. Yes it would look better I have to agree, so a trip to Chateauroux is called for.

At least we will get lunch while we are out. Everything stops at midday for re-fueling, a practice I am happy to join in with.

Sports awards today!! My team (Lancaster Bombers American Football) and the exec I headed up have been nominated for club of the year (got to the national 1/4 finals) at the Lancaster University Sports Awards so I get to wear a suit, look pretty sweet, drink some champers and hopefully pick up an award! Should be fun!!!

On to more Watford orientated news: Yes, a shame about Alan Shearer, not sure why he has to be so demanding, he hasn't really proved much to be fair but hey ho. Let the MM speculation continue!!

Morning all...well just afternoon actually.

Very grey and drizzly here. Does anyone else find the "permission to speak to" terminology slightly amusing? I'd guess they can speak to anyone any time; it's more about permission to make an offer of some sort.

 

No speaking about a job without permission is called tapping up watch the birmingham-villa saga unfold....

 

It is an amusing term, but obviously in relation to speaking to someone about a job... Just have images of a chairman bumping into another team's manager in a bar somewhere and calling his club so they can have a chat over a pint!!
