so much is happening - my experience spot thing has just turned pink...but I'm very pleased that my activity level is still at a pleasingly low 2.0%

The TV was on for the tennis this afternoon and I had half an eye on it. Despite what some say about him, that was one of the most brilliant displays I have ever seen.

As for the crash, it was a wonder that no one was killed. Having driven on part of the course it is not the safest place in the world.

Morning all - Bright morning in bandit country. Up early to check on work, we have a huge upgrade being transported over the week-end and my guys have been testing yesterday and should finish this morning (hopefull), just one defect found and fixed. We have a known bug on the customer portal that I have to write a communications to the country directors about, hopefully will get resolved by Wednesday....so not in bad shape after 8 weeks of regression testing!
In 4 weeks we will do it all again after a month of data migration and all the new users are enabled and configs turned on - that is when the real fun starts! :emoticon-0101-sadsm

    Sounds great W_Y :(

In my place they are rationalising 39 senior manager post to 12.. and I am not the flavour of the year..... I have two years until I can walk out and grow grapes full time. Just got to manage the rising costs of a teenager!

Rob.. yes saw a bit o the tennis and the crash.... lucky guy eh... I am sure twenty years ago that would have been much worse..

    good day one and all....

Yorkie - I know what it is like, we have gone through loads of RIF's (Reduction in Force as the yanks call it) and I just need a few more years and then I will happily take a package and do a few years consulting...

I really consider myself to be very lucky to have had the opportunity to get away from the madness of working for other people. My greatest worry these days is will we have enough rain. Hope that everyone who feels under pressure gets to a better period before long.

Looks like the cardiff stories are firming up:( Is the fact that MM is going is why we havent brought anyone in yet? or merely because the money isnt in the bank yet?
Mr B stated a hands off warning , but will he back his words up ? this is a big test for him proved to be a liar or starts to get the fans onside!
We probably wont know much more till various folk come back off holiday!Would have been helpful if Ash would have signed before he went away!

Certainly I cannot see that we have received any money for Danny as he went on holiday before a contract was ready to sign. He is still our playere at the moment.

SD I read is holding the fort at the moment and I bet he can talk to MM whenever he has the need, so that should not hold any player movements up.

Wonder if Baz would be strong enough to say no to Cardiff? and remind MM of his new contract! Certainly a big ask of our new rookie owner!

OFH - stop talking about ceilings - I have still to paint one in the cottage kitchen that was damaged when we had the burst pipes

Why would MM say "yes" to Cardiff? He has no history there, they are not a bigger club, they have a financial situation that is far worse than ours, they will demand promotion or sack him and a number of players have left - oh they have a nice stadium
