Morning all - Drab morning in bandit country and trying to catch up on the 300+ emails that have arrived since Monday!
Quiet week-end coming up - thank the lord!

 

Morning All, Day three survival underway.

The little ones normally get going about 6am at home in England. Their parents thought that with the time difference they would get a lie in until 7am, but no still 6am. I believe it has something to do with light intensity, as most days out here I never wear a watch, but can still tell the time by the light.

Mind you when I get tucked into my Bordeaux I can lose all sense of time.

 

Norway - will you please stop slagging me off at every opportunity- I am getting really fed up with it. I actually only get upset with you when you send people messages to get them to vote for what you want. I have no problem at all with what views anyone has and resent your continuous sniping at me. You misread my message trying to help you find names on the chess site and called me a pedant, you accused me of hypocrisy yesterday suggesting I had sent messages to people when I had not - now you constantly imply that I have views and get upset by other peoples. I am not going to accept your snide comments any longer. If you want the bloody Mod job which seems to be what this all started about then HAVE it - and good luck to the board when someone with your intolerance takes over. We agreed to drop handbags yesterday and since then you have made six snidey comments

You will get what you want soon - I will simply withdraw from the site - as I said to you before I joined 606 for friendly debate not to have someone starting arguments all the time. So some culture for this afternoon's listening pleasure instead - Madam Butterfly is on the gramaphone. A few years ago I took Mrs W_Y to watch/listen to Puccini's finest, we did feel a bit young compared to the rest of the audience. But at the end we were in pieces, Mrs W_Y was sobbing her heart out and had to just sit there for ages - but everyone else just wandered out....

A bit of a recovery up to lunch ,still a hell of a lot of work to do though!

 

I had it on int he 'background' earlier and saw all 3 wickets go. I then closed it and we have done well since... I really do struggle watching England at times!
