So I see! So is it too early to ask about hopes for the forthcoming 12 months?

Of course not mate , for this site and its community continuing growth and expansion! For the club I hope we get 12 more months of Malky!
I`m excited about our kids doing so well ! I hope we get a fair price for Danny and I hope Mr B doesnt kill the club!
Personally I hope I can survive the rollercoaster ride that we will get next season ;)

Agree with all the above. Plus a Wilf Rostron style left back would be nice. And hugely inflated price for Ashley Young would be splendid too. So long as it goes to MM & not Mr B's bank manager

Neil Price might be available! Watched the 1984 Final on dvd to commemorate the anniversary on the 19th. Brought back painful memories of crying as we left the ground.

Couldn't believe that Ian St John said on the commentary that it was a fair challenge. Though by the sound of it, you either have a few years on me or were an early starter. I was a spring chicken at the time and dreamed of getting into the starting line up.

I was 10 and I remember thinking how unfair it was as it was my Dad's birthday. Little did I know at the time that he was an Ar*enal season ticket holder growing up and as soon as I started going to the Vic with friends, his loyalty went straight back to them... still could have been worse, he could have taken me to Highbury!

And not only have I not played chess in years, but I was rubbish then too! Got 5 move (or was it 4, can't remember) mated in an inter school competition once, such was my proficiency.

Didn't we beat them twice in 2 days back then? Memories of studying appearances goals and other stats in programmes are flooding back to me :)

Who is the resident statto and where are they when we need them? Memory says it was an Easter, so maybe on the Saturday and Monday if not consecutive days. Or I could just be dreaming...
