Thats interesting Rob cause I think Leo was complaining about speed the other day! I only have a 1 meg line here, but it loads ok for me (touchwood)!

That one went over my head Frenchie ,so I googled it and found lots of choices! but not the one i think you mean, care to enlighten me

 

He used to advertise a system for winning on the football pools. You had to add up points, such as 1 pt for a home team, 2 pts for an away team, pts for games since a draw etc. etc. Then when you had spent an entire evening with a pencil and parchment, the matches with the highest total number of points would be your drawn games.

He advertised on the radio, so think it must have been Radio Luxembourg as at that time it was the only station to carry adverts.

 

Late night for me....and tomorrow I will be descended on by three small grand daughters. Not sure that I will be around much. Better go and build my strength up.
