    hi there

    I know I've asked before, but do any of you have any tips for making this site run faster?

    it just takes ages to load a page...I'm sure I can remove pictures or something, but can't remember how...

    Thats interesting Rob cause I think Leo was complaining about speed the other day! I only have a 1 meg line here, but it loads ok for me (touchwood)!

    He used to advertise a system for winning on the football pools. You had to add up points, such as 1 pt for a home team, 2 pts for an away team, pts for games since a draw etc. etc. Then when you had spent an entire evening with a pencil and parchment, the matches with the highest total number of points would be your drawn games.

    He advertised on the radio, so think it must have been Radio Luxembourg as at that time it was the only station to carry adverts.
