True - who else could be so stupid (possibly The Septic Tanks, I suppose) There've already been a couple of deaths over there thanks to over-ambitious plankers - or should that be plonkers?

I've no problem with over-enthusiastic plankers. They are just proving the validity of Darwin, once again.

Both Hodson and Thompson are playing for Northern Ireland tonight- NI are losing 4-0, Hodson's made a mistake for a goal, and Thompson's given away a penalty and been sent off <doh>

Just seen the French news. They are forecasting that ak's ash will spread over the whole of this country and into Spain.

They were going to hold him personally responsible for it and Ryanair were looking to send him a rather large bill. <laugh>

Not even going to say where this was from as it's embarrassing, but a rumour is a rumour I guess.

Rangers will not be splashing that sort of cash, they have just been taken over as well and the new owner has still got to show his hand, sound familiar?

Morning all - Nice day in West West London

Those rumours look a bit on the edge, must be more rubbish hacks just trying to create some noise. Firstly, Rangers (the jock one's) are skint and could not afford DG, secondly that is pure rubbish about waiting for the season ticket revenue to pay for the pitch because we will have to give up a big chunck of that revenue as we "sold" it last season to a finance company. I would think that Conor Smith is just another punt as he will be years away from the finished articale and again Rangers are skint and would not pay that type of money for a youth player.

Right off for some toast...good luck with your test Hornette!

    Morning All,

Weather looking set for some more dry days. I have been outside and cannot see a cloud anywhere.

Speaking to my son-in-law last night, I found out that he also had been on the wrong end of an accident. He visited B & Q in Gloucester to buy a shower screen and found that there was just the one left. As the carton was open he asked a lady assistant if they could look inside to make sure that it was all there and not damaged. She said that it was too heavy for her, but if he liked to put it on the bench she would check it out. So he lifted it off the rack only for the whole thing to slide out of the bottom of the box, onto his foot.

An x-ray at the hospital showed up two broken toes and severe cuts and bruises to the others. B & Q were not too bothered and did not respond to his complaint that the box had not been taped up properly. Having waited for them to get back to him for over a week, he consulted a law firm who make claims of this type. They are very eager to take it up and the list of things they will claim for is very lengthy indeed.
