i just got back from the theatre. Went to the National with a friend to see Zoe Wanamaker in The Cherry Orchard. I always knew that woman was amazing..but blinkin' heck, it was incredible! Every performance was faultless. (And the free champagne helped! lol) <bubbly>

Morning all. Nice sunny day in Porton!!

See Di Canio has already said he'll be asking Milan and Uncle 'Arry for a few players! Swindon might be a team to look out for next season... if he does it right!!

Morning all, thanks for the brew Ak. How times have changed, when I first joined up many moons ago when we had a swing shift as in going from day shift on to nights. I used to go out and have more than a few beers and sleep till lunchtime have something to eat then more than probably have another sleep in the afternoon. Nowadays it is in bed by ten reading a book, then up early making chilli to last for a couple of days. Second load of washing on the go!!!! It is official I am old! I need to get myself a life! AAAAaaarrggghhhh!!!!

Many flights in and out of Scotland have been cancelled - along with the gales yesterday closing down most of the trains and blocking many roads, it's must look like a wasteland...shame Murray is winning though

The management here have decided they don't want us downloading videos, music and other programs or going onto "chat" sites. I suppose it's fair they do pay out wages, but who downloads films at work?

Those were the days Norway, I can remember having a pint before starting nights! Then the old sweats used to have 10 o'clock supper in the Bowl! Then they used to sent us young lads down to pick them up! Now a days it is totally different!

I thought they decided that it was safe to fly through it, once they realised that calling it dangerous wasn't commercially viable?

Those were the days... I remember doing afternoon Saturday shifts, then behind the bar until 2. We'd then have staff drinks til about 6 (all for free). It would be too late to go home so would pop for a McDonalds breakfast, up to the snooker club for a couple of games of pool, then start my Sunday shift at 10 until mid-evening before a Sunday night shift! God knows how I did it back then...
