    Morning all

Looking forward to August 6th too...but a bit of me still thinks it's ridiculous to be playing football so early. Whatever happened to "the cricket season" and "the football season" and the days of Denis Compton, Chris Balderstone, Phil Neale, Arthur Milton et al?

School holidays. Sra Braga and Jr are off to the outlaws on the evening flight to São Paulo on Friday 22nd July. I thought that there would be a premium price as the school finish that day and obviously the airlines will bump up prices for a few days before that to catch the naughty skivers, luckly TAM are not soo clever and the summer holiday price starts on Saturday. What is a real downer is the airport taxes are as much as the fllights. Several hundred pounds each!

Is 1C here with a strong wind coming down Eyjafjörður from north. I think there will be rain as the sky is very dark and there are no flights from hte airport today because of the volcano at Grímsvötn

I can not say about volcanoes the do what they want and that is what happens.

I came home from work early with some advice about how to fix my PC and it worked. I was told to switch it on and press button with F11 to log in with safe mode and chose a to return to a restore point. If that did not work try with F5. F5 worked for me and I ran a virus check with no internet connnected. I am doing again with the internet so I can update the virus checker. When this finishes I will find a spyware killer.

    - Norman Tebbit,
    - George Bush snr,
    - Herman Goering,
    etc....

Malwarebytes is good to remove spyware, but you have to update it yourself which is a pain, well the free version anyway lol

Morning all. 8C and still dark in Chch. I've just realised that I haven't felt an aftershock in about 3 days. The Earth is calming down and giving more attention to Iceland.

All the talk of summer holidays is making me feel quite envious. I will have to wait. We have booked something for the Spring which I never believed I would go on - a cruise! We are sailing to Brisbane via Norfolk Island. Apparently these local cruises are great for children. Mast. NZ will be kept occupied all day and will come back to the cabin exhausted. I may even get the chance to read a book. Now that would be novel!

Green with envy :emoticon-0132-envy: If I were to be given my choice of where to live anywhere in the world, it would be Norfolk Island. :emoticon-0132-envy:

Swindon's new manager is an interesting choice - Paolo Di Canio. I hope he is a bit better than our Italian model!
