sunny but cold due to a strong wind! hope its blowing the right way to avoid icelands ash!

Carling Cup 1st round draw is the 16th

 

Oh, and 1st game of the season is the 7th of August!

Yes you are right Hornette... the 6th is the Saturday - unless they have a Friday night opener again - apologies!

 

I like the friday night openers ,especially if were on the telly

 

No need to apologise ...i miss the first game of the season, was trying to work my days away around it but i couldn't do it...that's how i know...it's etched in the memory, "the day i miss the first game of the season"! (pray it's an away game!)

 

Does seem so far away though!! Love the first game feeling... although haven't been to the opener for a few years now!!

Looks like I will be missing a few early games as well - I will have to get little Miss W_Y to represent the W_Y's.
We will finally get round to holiday searching at the week-end. Mrs W_Y has an exam on Tuesday and then is finished for her 1st year!

 

We're still searching for a holiday too. i have no idea where to go. Somewhere with a pool for me and something of interest for Mr H that isn't too expensive. i'm off to Philadelphia for 6 days at the beginning of August, so i might miss a few games by the time the other holiday is booked...darn it! lol
