    ;)

Reading a bit about Portsmouth today, and find that one of their over paid players is out of contract and approaching 37 years old. The club say they cannot afford to keep him as they have a cap of £10,000 pw. This however has not deterred his agent who is asking for a new contract and a rise.

Just a passing thought having read today that Warnock is not certain that he will keep his job. Which current Championship manager do you think will be the next to leave a club?

    evening all

I'm still a little bit obsessed by the graphics on this site - what's going to happen when someone fills up the blue bar?

Also, did BBW get his mug back?

Frenchie is Hermann Hreiðarsson you speak of. I thought we could make a naughty offer for him inside the wages plan as he is a left back but if he wants GBP10.000 and more he can stay in Portsmouth.

Næturvaktir is what you saw is strange. I do not know Dad's Army but will look on youtube. I think the show is funny because normal things become very extreme.

Brag - Did you see the programme on BBC 4 before that about the Icelandic photographer? Quite stunning television, I was transfixed for an hour...some of the pictures we has taken of old fisherman and farmers were just stunning. That's the BBC at it's best - Nightshift was quite amusing after I got used to it. Then Noggin The Nog afterwards - not quite Artic but one of my favourite chidhood memories...

I was all lined up to watch that but had to go out. I got back about 1 minutes from the end so didn't bother. Sra and Jr watch all the rubbish on Tuesday so I'll get the iplayer going, asuming BBC4 has stuff on it.
Viking sagas tomorrow, should be intersting. We could send the Timeteam to visit ak.

BBC4 is good. Sort of what BBC should be educational and informative.
