    Morning All, Weather as usual.

After my late night here, I hope that I have the energy today to contine my quest for a new driving license plus other things that have to be done before I go on my hols next week.

Some of ak's coffee usually gets me up and running. Maybe I will go for the double strength one today. ;)

Is it more important to get the little icons and points than actually having a chat?

Hi Toby.. which part of France?

    Morning all <ok>

MMe yorkie thinks it's very amusing that during the easter break they changed from starbucks to GRUMPY MULE coffee here at fawlty towers.... I just have no idea why she finds that even mildly amusing.... I for one am particularly aggrieved because the tasy of this new coffee is just not up to the mark....

Do you not find that all coffee shop chains serve burned coffee. Coffee should be roasted well before grinding the beans to dust not burned. Costa and Starbuck are very bad for this.

My parents live in the middle left bit, near Poitiers, but in the deep countryside. Lovely place, just not very exciting <ok>

    I do miss it though...

Just posted a quick article on General Chat about this, it makes me very angry...

Yorkie when I say near Poitiers it's about an hour away, pretty much in between Poitiers and Niort. Limoges is a lovely place, my parents have just bought a flat in Aubusson to maybe retire in. I love the centre of France, beats the south anytime!

    Bonjour mes amis...

All this talk of France reminds me we'll be off to Ile de Re in 4/5 weeks' time. Mrs H has just booked lunch in a Michelin starred restaurant in La Rochelle. Off to buy some shelves for the garage now. It might even enable us to clear enough floor space to put the car in there occasionally.

Theo if you're in that part of the world I really recommend the Ile d'Aix, a beautiful little island off the coast with no cars. There's a bike circuit all the way round which is really worth doing!

Morning all - Bright & lovely morning in West West London, but I had to scrape off some ice when I left Bandit Country at 06.00 am!

Thanks for the frothy AK and fully agree about Costa, the Americano in corporate madness is as bitter as hell....

No news on QPHa as yet..
