What is it about storms that you like or hate? We have one brewing in the distance at the moment and there is a almost continuous flashing going on behind some dark clouds that have rolled in. I find the light show fascinating to watch, whereas Mme will pull the shutters in to keep it out of sight. Apart from the damage that can be done when computers and modems get fried, and the sudden loss of electricity that sometimes comes, I enjoy watching this show of nature.

I know what you mean about storms, Frenchie - they used to fascinate me back in Oz. Our house had a wrap around verandah & we could move around to watch storms as they passed by or simply sit with our feet up and watch the lightning in the distance over the mountains. As they usually struck late afternoon/early evening during summer, it was the perfect way to cool down whilst having dinner on the verandah. I still miss the pre-rain smell of the earth followed by the eucalyptus aroma released after the rain had gone.

    Starting to feel homesick!

Norwich promoted! Makes me feel good- neither of the two promoted teams were good enough to beat us at their place this season.

Is odd we beat both the two promoted teams on their field and lost on ours. The recommendation must be for a new field.

Ak, absolutely...when we can play our game, we can beat anyone..our pitch hasn't helped this season, but we can't deny it's been the same for everyone that's come to Vicarage Road so i'm not sure how much of an excuse it is..

Toby, that's really funny! He has a great sense of humour, it's just a shame he's not the President the American's thought they were getting...

True, he's done some things that went against what he originally said, like keeping Guantanamo open, but his healthcare reforms were hugely unpopular, and they were much needed in a country where being wealthy is important if you get sick.

Love the way the camera keeps on filming Trump, shame there's not more lighting to see the reaction on his face!

wy, Blair was in power for years and yes, he did a lot of good things. Iraq is a complicated issue, I was for the war before it started as I don't like the idea of any crazy dictator being in power anywhere in the world, and Saddam wasn't someone you wanted in charge of a country. The amount of mistakes made during the occupation were not Blair's fault personally.

Now you can speculate all you want over his intentions when deciding to invade, only he knows what was going through his mind. All I know is that this country is a better place after having Blair as PM after all those years...

The Lion King joke is great, thought it was the youtube poster that added it at first. I don't think DC could ever be funny, even if he tried...

Ak I managed to get Mr B for a few minutes , His answer to Why Watford was "because its a fantastic club"
What are your intentions Mr Bassini and how do you intend to implement them ? He answered have you read the statement? I replied yes and in detail along with your communications in the Watford Observer!
I asked Do you intend to reschedule the meeting with Mr Sterry? He replied things are very busy presently!
and then walked off!!! He was wearing a really garish loud wideboy suit! and again failed to say anything of any substance! A lady tried to question him with no luck either! I am now convinced this guy is trouble ,The sort of guy if you shake his hand you check you still have all your fingers!!!!!
I hope I`m totally wrong and he turns into a watford legend I just dont see it:(
