Morning all - had the news on for one hour this morning and all 60 minutes were devoted to just one story - i 'll let you guess which - no doubt a thread will be set up here too to trawl over it. Actually I lie - in that hour they had one brief weather report.

 

Glad you're safely home Norway - and Ak - think you need to tell us the Icelandic words for King and President so we can decide which suits you more

Morning All, Weather as usual here, but maybe a shower coming later. I will believe it when I see it.

Just have a thought for all the people out here as they have missed out on their public holiday. It was yesterday and they don't get today off to make up for it.

The news item of the day of course is well documented here. The one big difference that I have noticed between the pictures being used, is that the Beeb have a picture of him alive, whereas the French have pictures of his face after he had been despatched.
