    Morning all.

High cloud and very breezy this morning. Disappointing game yesterday...not too much quality on either side. Rangers will need strengthening to survive the Prem. JE worked hard to get us going but a few others looked to be suffering from end-of-seasonitis.

The distribution of away fans around the ground was disappointing. Lots of them standing up, cheering and banner-waving in the middle of the Upper Rous in the "free-loaders" area. It sparked several confrontations, notable for the absence of steward interest, and left a slightly unpleasant feeling about the last game. If I were a QPR fan (and I'm daily grateful I'm not) I would have wanted to celebrate but whenever I've finished up watching the Hornets in the away end I've always thought it right to keep my thoughts to myself...apart from looking after my own safety of course. Should the club encourage this mixture of home and away fans? It doesn't bother some but others yesterday clearly found it highly provocative.

Very clouded here but 11C and rain to arrive later.

There was a shouting thng over my head at the game against Hull as the people behind were in Hull City shirts and shouted when they scored. The people in front of me did not like it. Was a strange thing as my friend is a Hull person and he just stayed quiet and respecting of where he was.

I have an idea to close this nest at 5000 postings and have another Nest. Then keep running to 5000 postings. It would add to our thread totall very slowly. We could not do this if there is another thread of a big size and we want the biggest.

Those of you that were there, how do you think Sean Murray did? He says in his interview on the official site that he just tried to do the simple things right.

I didn't see him, but he certainly got a great review from the commentary team.

Jsybaz, when you come over to France what route do you use? We had thought about a trip over there, then discovered that it was cheaper to go all of the way to the UK then back again.:(

There has to be a better way.

Glad you got to meet up with Mrs H, Norway - how did you manage that this morning - you did not go to the ground I assume?

Ak - I agree with Nest mark 2 - are we really all so concerned with the statistics - the biggest / longest whatever?

At 5,000 posts it will be huge and I for one liked the old Nest being refreshed every so often - why not run a poll on it - you probably should run it as it is your "baby"
