    Well done Al, although never too sure why grandparents get congratulated.

    Hopefully my days of dashing around the countryside to see the newborn are finished, although I can not be sure. My youngest daughter who is unattached has informed Mme that she will be spending her holiday in a remote Scottish cottage with " a friend". <doh>

    Morning, afternoon and evening all - Beautiful, but chilly day in bandit country. Have dug out the base for the new shed and picked up the sand and slabs - now I am fairly pooped. I think I will have to call upon a Ben Drew to get the slabs laid - one of #2 sons mates is a bit short of work, so the laying the slabs is his! I have a very busy schedule over the week-end and manual labour is not part of it!
    Time for a few View attachment 2410 I think....

    Turning on the BBC news this evening I find that some reporter has been sent to stand outside of Westminster Abbey to talk about you know what. Thinking that he didn't really need to turn up so soon I wondered if the cost would have paid for another year of 606.

    Mme decided that she would catch up with the French news, only to find that they have a reporter already in place and trying out his English on a bemused looking public.

    It didn't finish there however. A lad from Oz by the name of John and his girlfriend called Marie from France were then wheeled out as lookalikes. It really makes one think , should the French have got rid of their monarchy? They are besotted with the whole thing.

    She is little more than a child BB...be gentle when she demands to look in your ears. I didn't hear anything for several days after she poked around in mine.
