The first 20 mins of the first half were the same as the second half almost. The second half we sat so far back, and didn't try and get the ball at all, and as soon as we got it, we lost it. It was a poor display, having gone 1-2 up so brilliantly. Loach didn't have a great game today, that's for sure! i'm not really sure who did, but 'Tiny' and Mariappa were as good as ever, which makes me wonder how they managed to score 3 in the second half! Sordell's goals were good, but Leicester's 40 yard strike was better. Hey ho. i need a drink! lol

Hornette, it actually says this year not this season. I can't imagine that we have used more since the start.

Oh good point, M Frenchie. Hmm, still hard to believe, with such a small squad, but i guess that makes sense, with loanees etc.

Note that Loach is coming in for a lot of criticism for the Leicester performance

Keepers are paid to make saves though - it is the goals they let in that get them noticed. Hoping this is just one bad season for Loach - think it is quite common in the development of young keeprs to have a bad year but then if they focus well they can go from strength to strength - at kleast that is what I am telling myself :)

Unfortunately goalkeeper is the one position where every mistake is picked up on. A goalie can make half a dozen world-class saves but make one mistake and he gets the criticism. A striker can make a dozen mistakes but score one goal and gets the plaudits!!

Hopefully it is just a bad season for Loach... You'd like to think Alec is picking up on these mistakes and they are working on them in training. You just kind of hope they are not thinking that Loach is going for a good transfer soon, so they aren't trying so hard with him!

Morning all - I am off all week to do some much needed work in the garden. Luckily #2 son ripped down the old shed whilst I was away and all I have to do now is find a new shed and build a new base for it - off to get some slabs and sand to make a new base.....

    morning all!

It's such a shame that Loach is obviously getting abuse for yesterday. He's been swatting insulting tweets all morning and yesterday :(. He had a bad game, he made mistakes that cost us dearly, but Saturday and Tuesday he was on excellent form, and right now, that's the sort of season he's having. Should his inconsistancy be a worry? Probably not, every player seems to have them, it's just hugely obvious when it's the goalkeeper. People need to start being far more encouraging...such negativity doesn't help confidence.

Meanwhile...enjoy your time off w-y, though it sounds horridly like hard work to me lol

A rather belated caramel latte, if you please Ak ;)

    Morning all.

Done a bit of "work" in the garden myself this morning. However, no sheds demolished, no new buildings erected, in fact no reconstruction of any sort. Swept up a few leaves, picked up four weeds, sat in a chair for coffee, admired the first dlowers on the wisteria...now that's what I call work

On closer inspection I think the dlowers were flowers!

We got back last night from our break in Gran Canaria and I was in the back garden watering our poor plants, does not look like they have had much if any water in the last week from mother nature!

Very pleased with our new half sized shed - all finished apart from painiing and Lennietta will see to that . At our last house one was painted as a beach hut; this time I fear Dragons :) Been putting lots of old timber in it and called it the Woodshed which was a mistake as Lennietta is now wandering round quoting Cold Comfort Farm about something nasty in the woodshed - which she just happens to repeat every time I go in there :(

Loach like most of our team - and manager is young and learning - some people do not take that into account - he has had a poor season y his hopes and ambitions and "international" status - but as was pointed out a goalie's every mistake is what is noticed but for a striker it is his successes.

What is it with Roo? I have always thought him a bit rude and direct and he clearly thinks he knows more about Finance than the rest of us put together (he's probably an Auditor:) ) But his recent contributions fall closer to the Peruke / Hero /Zero style of personal attacks. Odd as I had not spotted his intolerant side.
