Shame for him that it all went a bit sour. Still does he post anywhere these days as he used to talk a lot of sense and some of us had good conversations with him. I think it is a bit of an age thing.

Evening all.

Mrs H is fond of 'Midsomer Murders' so we have sat through a couple of hours of that this evening. It was untaxing...even I could follow it...and there was some pretty Chiltern countryside but with a body count of 4 in a small village, and this being a regular occurrence in Midsomer, I was less concerned with who committed the crimes than the more obvious question of why anyone would choose to live in such a place and, if you were daft enough to do that, why would you go wandering about after dark? On pointing this out, I was reminded that it was only a story. Fair enough, said I, but I do like my stories to have at least a tenuous link with reality. 'Well you don't like Eastenders either' came the reply. Enough said.

 

Mrs N loves doing up houses programmes,which is quite funny coz ours is nearly falling down!!
