The Steptoes make a lot of threads everywhere. I think they all have to write a thread to put their opinion and can not talk to each other over a longer period and many threads repeat the same ideas.

The number of threads is only important when you are talking about cotton. We all sit in the nest and talk to each other. The Steptoes sit in solitary and talk to themselves

AK - Did the bear make it across from the BBC or did you leave him in the cellar?

Did think about going to Preston but it's Liberation weekend, so my boys probably have sort of celebration to take part in and thanks to a disagreement with their mother, I have to take them as it's during their time with me. Shame, as it'll be my 3rd long weekend in a row on this rock..

Hornette, thought about using a sticky on your Moonwalk thread? (sorry that I mentioned it if there's already one there)

Norway, I've just started bookkeeping for a client based in Oslo - how far from there is Varhaug?

Just sampled a Normandy cider made from Gros Oeillet apples whatever they might be. The label says 'Dry' but if that's the case I wouldn't like to try a sweet cider from the same maker. Still, made an interesting accompaniment to lamb and potato curry.

Yes we can all converse on one thread like adults steptoes have to climb ontheir box and shout!. Hopefully we can 'sticky' five or so threads to cover most things( im thinking for the summer a transfers one would be a good idea!

I see that Des Lyttle has resigned as manager of Tamworth. I always find it sad when things don't work out for our ex players, unless they have dubious moral values.

Well he was with his family.....sometimes it's strange to imagine that your heroes (especially Tommy, mine when I grew up) are just ordinary human beings as well.

I mentioned that I was a Watford season ticket holder and followed his progress, didn't want to bother him that much though.

He was pretty ace at bowling
